SolaX inverters
Whilst SolaX manufacture a nice range of regular inverters, but it's their Hybrid models, and in particular the three phase models that are particularly interesting.
The hybrid range from Solax supports high voltage batteries and the cost includes WIFI and the all important smart meter that tells the inverter whether you need battery power or not.
The single phase X-1 range comprises 3kVA, 3.6, 4.6 and 5kVA models
The three phase X-3 range comprises 5kVA, 6kVA, 8kVA and 10kVA models
We are waiting for confirmation of pricing and availability on all the 3 phase hybrids, but the one price so far is for the 5kVA model (X3-Hybrid-5.0T) at $4730 makes it an expensive option.
For example, to achieve 5kVA on 3 phase with the Huawei hybrid we would install a 5kVA single phase inverter for $1750 in all over Australia, and a 3kVA + 2kVA in Western Australia (where the rules are different, costing $2,540 )
For a larger system, 10kVA, then 2 x Huawei 5kVA inverters at $3500 where permitted is still substantially less than the 5kVA SolaX hybrid and even 3 x 5kVA at $5250 isn't much more.
