EGing solar panel review
Yet another enormous Chinese Tier 1 panel manufacturer. Started out in 2003 making silicon ingots which they then sold to other Chinese manufacturers to slice up into wafers and make solar cells from. Somewhere along the track they realised they were missing out on shed loads of money and started making panels themselves.
We've read tales on the internet of this brand out-performing dozens of others in destruction tests (beat the panel up in cold and heat and wind etc) until it can't take anymore but it looks perfectly normal to us. Same frame as everyone else.
Be that as it may, it's a good mainstream panel. A little surprising that we are only seeing the 265W model as everyone has moved to at least 275W from a 1.6M x 1M frame, but it simply means you need 25 of them on your roof for 6.6kW instead of 24 x 275W
Normal 10 year defect, 25 year performance warranty. Good price for a good panel.
Nothing wrong with buying this at all.
